Barrytown: Gathering for the "International Day of Peace"

Event Description :
A local manifestation of the United Nation's International Day of Peace, as hosted by the Unification Theological Seminary's Peace Sanctuary (The UTS was founded by the Reverend Sun Myung Moon). The UN's web site for this worldwide effort is at http://InternationalDayOfPeace.org/

Schedule:
  • 5:30pm - Potluck Picnic with special blessing by Rev. Skye Taylor.
  • 7:00pm - World Peace Prayer Flag Ceremony
  • 7:30pm - A walk for peace during a Candlelight Labyrinth Walk (Labyrinth stays candlelit until 9:30pm)
