"We, the People: A Forum to Defend Democracy"
A forum to educate and mobilize people to oppose the recent Supreme Court ruling (Citizens United v FEC) that allows for unlimited corporate spending on US elections.
Congressman Maurice Hinchey (Dem, 22nd district) will give the keynote address. An expert panel will include; John Bonifaz, director of Free Speech for People and legal director of Voter Action; Joan Mandle, PhD executive director of Democracy Matters and Marge Baker, executive vice-president for People for the American Way.

Participants will leave with action steps, resources, "new connections and new hope."
